Latvia’s national beverage, beer, has been brewed in Cēsis since 1590. Brewers have plied their trade here for more than four centuries, safeguarding the ancient beer recipe in great secrecy and passing the traditional secrets of brewing beer from generation to generation. Over the centuries, power and political systems have come and gone, but beer has remained the most effective thirst quencher both during the past and nowadays when beer brewing has become a sector with tremendous potential. For everybody involved, working in this sector is a great honour and responsibility.

Joint Stock Company “Cēsu alus” new brewery is the largest investment project in the Vidzeme region. We have built one of the most modern breweries in the Baltic States and have become one of the frontrunners in Latvian market place.

The principal cornerstones of our success are our customers. We devote and will continue to devote the greatest possible attention to our partnership with our partners. Our goal is to present our products using a creative and non-traditional approach that increase awareness of our products among consumers.
