We produce our products using only 100% green electricity from renewable sources. The air will be cleaner as atmosphere receives 3110 tonnes of CO2 less every year and we have saved 3184 tonnes of fossil fuel that would be used for electricity production.
Our goal is that our production is CO2 neutral till 2030.
We invested in bioenergy plant that is CO2 neutral and helps to clean the wastewaters; the bioenergy that it produces is used for heating in production. Bioenergy forms 10-13% of the total heat. Atmosphere receives 405 tonnes of CO2 less every year.
We have invested into new Energy Track energy management system that helps us to minimize energy losses and reduce energy demand.
To reduce CO2 emissions in our logistics operations we have improved routing efficiencies.
We make investments to replace and upgrade equipment – in logistics we use forklifts with lithium-ion batteries. These devices have zero emissions which means cleaner, safer working environment for our employees.
We have obtained Energy management system certificate ISO 50001 and Environmental Management system certificate ISO 14001 that proves our commitment to use energy and other resources more efficiently and effectively and enhance our environmental performance to minimize our environmental footprint. We renew those certificates annually.
We plant trees and thus partly compensate our CO2 emissions. We are committed to compensate paper used for beer labels by replacing new trees every year in cooperation with PATA.
