Beverage producer Cēsu alus also included on the white list

According to the Republic of Latvia Ministry of Finance, beverage producer JSC Cēsu alus has also been included on the so-called white list or In-depth Cooperation Programme.

Currently, 11 companies have been included on the white list so far. It includes also power company JSC Latvenergo, retailer SIA Rimi Latvija, construction company SIA Arčers, waste manager SIA Getliņi Eko, water supply, heating and garden goods wholesaler SIA Akvedukts, biodiesel production and transhipment complex SIA Bio-Venta, distributor ofpaints, industrial coatings and paint related products SIA Tikkurila, fuel retailer SIA Statoil Fuel & Retail Latvia, power objects engineering, repair and service company SIA Energoremonts Rīga and passenger transporter SIA VTU Valmiera.

Companies that have acquired member status of theIn-depth Cooperation Programme have the opportunity to communicate more easily and quickly with the State Revenue Service (SRS) and are provided several advantages: faster repayments of value added tax, an individual SRS consultant, timely information about the possible risks of uncovered taxes stated by SRS, preparation of SRS written replies sooner than the provided order.

For the tax payer to be included on the white list, it must conform to several criteria.

The tax payerwho is willing to participate in the programme has to submit an electronic application for participation in the programme using the SRS Electronic Declaration System. If the tax payer conforms to all criteria, the Ministry of Finance adopts a decision on introducing the tax payer to the programme.

Companies that are included on the white list are published on the Ministry of Finance home page in the register of theIn-depth Cooperation Programme.
