Cēsu alus product portfolio is supplemented with a new product – Classical Lemonade for adults. For already 30 years, Classical Lemonade has been manufactured in accordance with an unchanging recipe, thus becoming the most favourite in its category.
For already 30 years, Classical Lemonade has been manufactured in the Cēsu alusbrewery – its recipe has not been changed since its creation, thus preserving a consistent flavour that the generation of people in their 30`s recalls as “childhood lemonade”.
Currently, Classical Lemonade is the market leader in the traditional lemonade segment – occupying 50 % of the market share according to sales volumes (The Nielsen Company data). In order to develop the brand, last year Classical Lemonadewas, for the first time, provided to its consumers in a 0.33 l can. Particularly Cēsu alus Classical Lemonade is the only one in its segment which is produced without preservatives.
In 2012, Classical Lemonade was adjusted specifically to cater to the adult target audience, filled in an exquisite 0.33 l glass bottle with an appropriatepremium design and brand communication.
Head of the JSC Cēsu alus Marketing Department Inese Kublicka: “By offeringClassical Lemonade for adults, we have created an adequate communication for it –elegant glass bottle, glossy labels which stimulate enjoying the lemonade with style – drinking it separately as a refreshing drink or in various cocktails. Classical Lemonade that is intended for children can be recognised by its image – the pig Limpo, whereas the lemonade intended for adults is communicated by its emphasis on elegant packaging and classic taste.”
The product will be available on the market and HoReCa segment in March – in cafes and restaurants. The lemonade bottle is made from the recyclable packaging, thus it can be recycled at the appropriate recycling facilities.
