Company Cēsu alus has prepared a gift to children who are in the care of children’s homes, social care and family support centres, as well as SOS children’s villages in Latvia, congratulating them with the start of the school year and giving each child a bottle of the sparkling lemonade Limpanietis. A greetings card created in a creative workshop by children of Cēsu alus employees was also added to the parcel.
Eva Sietiņsone, Chairman of the board, Cēsu alus: “The beginning of a new school year is an important event for every child, so we wanted to surprise these children a little bit, create happy and festive atmosphere by giving our sparkling soft drink Limpanietis.”
Ilze Paleja, Director of the Association of SOS Children’s Villages in Latvia: “We are grateful to every socially responsible company that assists us and helps us create a festive atmosphere for children who have also experienced moments in their lives that haven’t been that happy. The support of the companies is very important for us, both in providing daily support for children and creating this kind of special moments of joy during holidays.”
The management of Cēsu alus will personally visit children in Vidzeme region, visiting the SOS children’s village in Valmiera, “Home for Family Support” children’s home in Skangaļu manor.
In total, greetings with the sparkling lemonade Limpanietis were sent to 45 places where everyday care is provided to children who are left without parental care or who are growing in the social risk families. They are children’s homes, social care centres, youth homes, SOS children’s villages and family support centres throughout Latvia. In addition, 1428 bottles of Limpanietis lemonade were sent to the SOS Children’s Village Association SOS Family Support Centres in Bauska, Īslice and Rīga, which provide support to approx. 500 children. A total of 5010 bottles or 3757.5 litres of the sparkling lemonade Limpanietis have been donated during this Cēsu alus charity campaign.
